Who we are

Super Saturday Show is a weekly music show and community premiere platform. This policy explains what personal data the site handles and why. For anything in this policy, use the contact form.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use Google only to sign you in. We never see or store your Google password.

When you submit: the artist name, contact email, country or timezone, video links, track details, duration if provided, content warnings, notes, and any other information you choose to provide with the submission.

When you use the contact form: your logged-in account details, message subject, message body, IP address, and browser user agent may be included in the private email sent to the show team and in internal logs.

Automatically: standard server, security, session, and anti-abuse information may be processed so the site can stay online, keep users logged in, prevent spam, and diagnose problems. If Cloudflare or similar protection is enabled, it may also process security and anti-abuse signals.

Why we use it

We use this information to run the show: to sign you in, review and schedule submissions, run the premiere lineup, send slot confirmation emails, present selected premieres and credits, maintain the archive, keep the site secure, and contact you about your own submissions. Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you asked for and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the show. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies, such as a sign-in session cookie so you stay logged in and any security cookies needed to protect the site. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because these cookies are essential to a function you asked for, we do not show a consent banner. You can block cookies in your browser, but you will not be able to sign in without the session cookie.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share personal data only with providers needed to run the service, and each only handles what it needs for its part:

the site host/server and database used to run the site;
Google sign-in and account authentication;
the hosting mail system or configured email provider used to send submission and contact emails;
YouTube, where YouTube links, thumbnails, video details, embeds, or stats are used;
Cloudflare or similar security/CDN tools if enabled for protection, caching, or analytics.

Aggregate statistics and sponsors

From time to time, a sponsor or partner may support the show. We may share aggregate, anonymised statistics with sponsors and partners, such as how many people watched, how many videos were submitted, how many tracks were played, or how often a sponsor link was followed. These figures describe the audience as a whole and do not identify you. We do not share your name, email, account details, or anything else that identifies you with a sponsor unless you clearly consent first.

Where your data is processed

The providers used to run the site may operate globally and may process data in countries outside your own, under the safeguards provided by their own privacy frameworks and terms.

What is shown publicly

If your video is selected, the video, artist name, track name, thumbnail, and public video link you provide may be shown publicly as part of the show, its livestream, site pages, top 10 lists, previous episode pages, and archive. Your email address and Google account details are not shown publicly.

Messaging between creators

If creator-to-creator messaging is added later, it is for adults and should be off by default. You must be 18 or older and turn it on before you can message or be messaged. Messages should be private between the people in the conversation. If you report a message, staff may review that specific reported message to act on it; private conversations are not otherwise intended to be read by staff. How long we keep it

We keep your account and submission data while your account is active or as long as needed to run the show, maintain the archive, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and keep required records. Ask through the contact form and we will delete or anonymise your account and personal data where reasonably possible, except anything we are required or permitted to keep for legal, safety, moderation, or security reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, delete, or stop using the personal data we hold about you through the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Age and children

You can browse the public site at any age. You must be at least 13 to create an account or sign in, and at least 18 to submit a video or use creator messaging if it is added. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it where possible. Some countries set a higher age for online consent, so please only use the site if you meet the age requirements where you live. The full age terms are in our Terms of Use.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the show and site grow. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
